Disciplining the child with Asperger's Syndrome requires some finesse in balancing a number of considerations. As a parent, you have the right to set the same limitations and boundaries as you would for any of your children. But you also have the responsibility to ensure you are being fair in communicating your parameters so you can expect your child's compliance, within reason. To discipline fairly you will need to first know that you have communicated fully your rules in ways your child understands best.
