Middle school is a huge leap forward for any child, but for a preteen with ADHD, the leap is longer, higher, and harder.

Instead of staying in the same class all day with one teacher, your tween moves from classroom to classroom, interacting with different teachers and students and carrying everything he needs. Many teens with ADHD lack the organizational skills needed to keep track of schedules, homework, and supplies, while the desire to fit in can make the middle school years challenging for tweens with ADHD lacking confidence and social skills.
