The Question of Marriage

Other interpreters see the lines that rise from the rascette in another way, as representing a marriage. (Of course, in times past a marriage very often indicated a life-changing journey.) According to this style of interpretation, a branch to the Jupiter mount on your hand is a sign that you will marry into wealth and power. A branch to Saturn would mean marriage to an older person. A line that extends from the rascette to the Apollo mount represents a marriage to a person with creative talents and artistic tastes. Finally, a line to the Mercury mount means, as you might expect, a union with a businessperson or merchant, or a marriage as a result of commercial activity, for instance, to someone you met on a business trip.

The rascette marks the beginning of your fate line (or line of destiny), an extremely important area, and the closer this line is to the base of your wrist, the sooner you will learn to be independent and directed. As with the other major and minor lines of your hands, be sure to read both wrists for the best assessment of whether you're meeting your life's true potential.
