The First Wrist Line

The first wrist line is perhaps the most important of the rascette, as it is the closest to the palm and most indicative of what lies therein. A reading of the rascette always begins with the first line.

A clear and deep line here shows that the owner of the hand is in good health and physically fit. If your first line is poorly formed and unclear, it means that you are indulgent and reckless, and that your problems may be more of your own making than you would like to think. In general, as with all the wrist lines, the clearer and stronger the line, the better the physical condition of the owner of the hand.

This line can also represent specific health problems. If the first wrist line curves upward into the bottom of the palm or is broken up to a large extent, it can mean gynecological troubles for females — from barrenness to menstrual problems to difficulty in giving birth. In males, it signals urinary, prostate, hormonal, or reproductive problems.

Be careful when you are making any statements about someone's health. Clearly, a reading cannot by itself diagnose a health problem. As with all medical indications, of course, look for other indicators before making any judgments.

As always, any look at the length of a person's life must be a balanced one that takes any number of indications into account. It must also be remembered that the lines only show probabilities and that the length and health of a life is largely dependent on an individual's personal decisions.
