Nine Loops

In addition to the lines previously described, the skin on your hands can hold many other special markings known as loops. Palm loops have the characteristic of looking like lassos. They are not complete circles, but rather open-ended half-circles in various sizes. Not everyone has all of these loops, but if you do, you can gain additional insight into what makes you tick.

Loops found on your hand

The Rajah Loop

A very unusual but very positive pattern to have is the Rajah loop. You can find it between the Jupiter and Saturn fingers, where it shows your skill at leading, influencing, and motivating others. In fact, it is sometimes known as the loop of charisma.

Look for this loop in those who gather others around them for a cause — religious leaders, activists, politicians, or those who lead their fields in scholarship, business, or the arts. If you have the Rajah loop, make sure that your influence over others is used for the good and not to their detriment.

The Loop of Seriousness

This loop occurs more frequently than the Rajah loop, in one out of five hands, and can be found between the Saturn and Apollo fingers. If your palm displays this marking, you have a mission in life and you are driven to achieve it without wasting any time dawdling along the way. You are a responsible and earnest individual and very motivated toward achieving your end. However, if the loop is more pronounced or noticeable near Saturn, it can point to psychological weakness.

The Loop of Humor

This loop is found between the Apollo and Mercury fingers and indicates a person that likes to have a good time and laugh at life's little ironies. If you have it, you enjoy all the creature comforts and would rather work at something you enjoy even if it does not pay as well as other jobs. In fact, people who have the loop of humor tend to not care much about achieving rank and position.

Oddly enough, you can have both a loop of humor and a loop of seriousness. If both appear on the same hand, it means you take life seriously and respect the drive to achieve your goals, but you can enjoy the path toward that achievement and find pleasure in your journey.

The Music Loop and Bee

This is a rare loop found on people with a strong love for music and an emotional response to it. It is found at the lower end of the hand, beneath the Venus mount. Two such loops, one on each hand, may indicate a career, or at least a devoted hobby, in music.

This is further enhanced by the presence of the Bee, a smaller marking at the center of the Venus mount. It signifies a love not for just music but music played on stringed instruments. Look for this if you play the bass guitar in a rock band or viola in a concert orchestra.

The Nature Loop

This loop is found on the percussion of the hand, either underneath the heart line or near the mount of Luna. Those who possess this loop have a great interest in nature and love to be outdoors or learning about it. They may be good gardeners or veterinarians and seem to have an innate understanding of flora and fauna.

The Memory Loop

About one out of every ten people has this loop and it is found on the outer side of the hand near the percussion. It represents exactly what you might assume it would from its name — the ability to remember things such as facts or events, including their emotive overtones.

If the memory loop is found near the mount of Mars, you have a memory that is good for figures and dates, but if it is in the Luna mount, it can mean you would make a good psychic — very insightful and able to read others accurately.

The Vanity Loop

This rare loop appears on the Apollo finger. This particular loop indicates an overwhelming sense of self-consciousness. If you have this marking on your hand, it could mean that you are far too caught up in how others judge your appearance and you worry too much about your looks. It could also mean that you are too concerned about what others think about you and their criticism. If anyone does find fault with you, you are very sensitive about their comments and take them too much to heart.

The Courage and Empathy Loops

Finally, there are the courage and empathy loops, both of which rarely appear on the palm. The courage loop is a looped marking in the web of the thumb. Its presence indicates a special propensity to bravery and valor, both physical and mental. The empathy loop is found near the wrist rascettes at the bottom of the hand. As you would expect, it means that the bearer is full of concern and kindness, is interested in other people, and is able to establish an empathetic relationship with them.
