Conducting Psychic Readings

Interpreting the Quadrants
One way to approach this is to look at the hand as having four quadrants. In your mind, divide your hand in half vertically, to separate the thumb side (which represents the conscious self) and the percussion side (the unconscious self). Then, divide your palm in half horizontally; the upper portion represents intellectual aspects and the lower portion your feelings and emotional life.

The conscious/intellectual quadrant includes the Jupiter and Saturn fingers and mounts. Look to this quadrant to learn more about your physical life, daily doings, possessions, and intellectual matters.
The conscious/emotional quadrant includes the Luna mount and thumbs and shows such areas as your sexuality, passion, ability to love, recklessness, response to art, and sense of identity.
The unconscious/intellectual quadrant includes the Apollo and Mercury fingers and mounts; it shows the mental aspects of life that sustain you from within, such as your ability with art, science, and communication.
The unconscious/emotional quadrant includes the Luna mount and shows your pleasure centers, spiritual areas, intuition, psychic ability, self-involvement, and playfulness.
To assess a person, look at the markings in each quadrant, and interpret them using the explanations of markings provided in the previous section on astrology. If you have an abundance of lines in a certain quadrant, that is an indication of where your psychic energy is concentrated.
Psychic Hand Reading
The study of palmistry can help the psychic interpret the course of a life. As you progress along the life line, you begin at the edge of the hand, near the Jupiter finger. This represents your entry into the outside world, the external domain ruled by Jupiter, when you begin to learn the culture you are born into. You then pass into the domain of Saturn on the life line, an area guided by Saturn's thirst for knowledge and study and a time when education and schooling predominate.
