Pumpkin & Parsnip Purée

What to do with parsnips that show up in your box of produce from the farm in early winter? Cook this sweet treat for your baby!

INGREDIENTS | YIELDS 4 tablespoons

  1. Peel parsnip and cut into small slices or chunks.

  2. Steam parsnip using either a steamer basket or microwave.

  3. Purée parsnip using reserved steaming water to achieve age-appropriate consistency.

  4. Combine parsnip purée and Pumpkin Purée.
