Butternut Squash & Corn Purée

Making a smooth purée is a safe way to serve the delicious taste of sweet corn to your baby.

INGREDIENTS | YIELDS 1½ cups

  • ½ cup peeled butternut squash chunks
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup frozen sweet corn
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine squash, water, and corn and bring to a boil.

  2. Stir while cooking to ensure that squash cooks evenly.

  3. Cook until tender, 8–10 minutes.

  4. Transfer to a food processor or blender. Purée, using additional water as necessary to achieve age-appropriate consistency.
