Butternut Squash & Corn Purée
Making a smooth purée is a safe way to serve the delicious taste of sweet corn to your baby.
INGREDIENTS | YIELDS 1½ cups
- ½ cup peeled butternut squash chunks
- ½ cup water
- ¼ cup frozen sweet corn
In a medium saucepan, combine squash, water, and corn and bring to a boil.
Stir while cooking to ensure that squash cooks evenly.
Cook until tender, 8–10 minutes.
Transfer to a food processor or blender. Purée, using additional water as necessary to achieve age-appropriate consistency.
