Brown Rice

Brown rice is a tender, delicious whole grain.

INGREDIENTS | YIELDS 2 cups

  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 2 cups water
  1. Combine brown rice and water in a small saucepan.

  2. Bring to a boil.

  3. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 40 minutes or until water is absorbed.

  4. Remove saucepan from heat, and let sit covered for 5 minutes.

  5. Fluff and serve.
