Brown rice is a tender, delicious whole grain.
INGREDIENTS | YIELDS 2 cups
- 1 cup brown rice
- 2 cups water
Combine brown rice and water in a small saucepan.
Bring to a boil.
Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 40 minutes or until water is absorbed.
Remove saucepan from heat, and let sit covered for 5 minutes.
Fluff and serve.
