Frozen mango slices can also work as a purée. Just thaw and then purée according to these directions.

- 2 medium mangos
- 1–2 tablespoons water
Remove flesh from mango.
In food processor or blender, combine mango and water. Process on and off until desired consistency is reached.
Work the pulp through a strong strainer to remove any fibrous materials.
How Do You Cut a Mango?
There are two flat sides to a mango and a large square pit in the middle. Cut off the two flat sides. Take a knife and make lengthwise and crosswise scores in the mango but do not cut thru the skin. Take your thumbs and turn this “inside out.” Slice the mango pieces off the skin. Repeat around the whole mango.
