Whether you've thought about it or not, if you have OCD, chances are your ritual or avoidance behaviors are affecting the people in your life. Some of your friends may have expressed concern. Coworkers may have acted curious or puzzled. Your symptoms might have caused problems for you at work or at school, or in one or more of your friendships or family relationships. Or perhaps the strain of hiding your behaviors, or the anticipation of more stressful situations, may be causing you undue anxiety. It might be time to decide whether to share, and with whom, and when to take other people's opinions to heart.
