However, the stress that accompanies anxiety can put you at greater-than-average risk for physical health problems of many kinds, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, insomnia (itself detrimental to good health), cognitive and memory problems, and more. And, as you may know, your OC behaviors, depending on what they are, can also place you in danger of more serious problems.
