A lot of progress has been made in the world of OCD. More knowledge and treatment options exist than ever have before, and there is a far greater awareness on the part of the public. People probably would have called her “nervous.” She would have felt very much alone outside the confines of her home and family (and probably even there). Happily, much more is known today about OCD, and you have many more options.
