Building Chords

If you understand your intervals well, building chords is no big deal. Each of the four triad qualities (major, minor, diminished, and augmented) has its own distinct building patterns, much as all the scales did: Once you learn the triad structures, you'll realize that they're so different from one another that it's hard to confuse them.
