You have learned all about scales and key signatures, which give you all the possible arrangements of notes in a line. The next step is to look at chords and the basic foundations of harmony. Intervals combine into chords, and harmonies emerge from those chords, providing the foundation of tonality, which is the language spoken by the music you hear.
