Scientists believe that it may be possible one day to use a simple blood test to diagnose MS. People with relapsing-remitting MS may have a distinct pattern of proteins in their blood that may be detectable with a simple test. A quick diagnosis would enable people with MS to begin receiving support and treatment early on, thus alleviating the stress that often comes with the diagnostic process.
