Brunch
The brunch is typically held the day after the wedding and gives the wedding party and the guests more time to say goodbye and chat about the wedding day. Many will be on their way to the airport and will appreciate having something to eat before they leave.
A brunch can be held anywhere, from the hotel where the reception took place to a local restaurant to your own home. Holding a brunch at your home will help to control costs, and holding it at the hotel where the majority of the guests are staying could be a thoughtful (and more convenient) gesture.
It's your prerogative to host an after-wedding brunch — but you're not required to do so. If you do choose to honor the newly married couple with another party, be sure to extend invitations to all of the wedding guests, but remember, not all will be able to attend.
