Migraine headaches affect a significant portion of the population, roughly 15 percent. The good news for men is that about three times as many women as men suffer from migraines. The bad news for men, however, is that these percentages are very little comfort when someone is under attack from a severe headache. While men are significantly less likely to be migraineurs, the reality is that many men do suffer from migraines. Many of the treatment options for men and women are the same, but there are some distinctly male issues relating to chronic headaches.
