About Your Freezer
If you have a garden or make a lot of foods to freeze, think about investing in a chest freezer. You can find them at scratch and dent sales and sometimes at garage sales. Have an electrician check it out to make sure it's safe to use, then keep a freezer thermometer in it. The temperature should be 0°F or less.
