4 (5-ounce) salmon fillets, skin on
2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon Citrus Pepper
Preheat the oven to 350°.
Rub ½ teaspoon of the olive oil into the flesh side of each salmon fillet. Sprinkle the Citrus Pepper over the olive oil-treated flesh and press it into the fish.
Treat an oven-safe baking dish with nonstick spray. Place the fillets skin-side down in the dish. Roast for 25 minutes.
Sodium Slashers
Fresh is usually best, but it isn't always practical. When it comes to seafood, frozen varieties are often frozen in a salty solution (brine). However, even fresh fish may be soaked in brine or sprayed with some other type of preservative to lengthen the shelf life. That's why it's important to wash off the fish using cold, unsoftened water.
