¼ pound Easy Slow-Cooked

“Roast” Beef

1 small head of cabbage, chopped

1 medium-size white or yellow onion, chopped

2 carrots, thinly sliced

¼ cup uncooked long-grain brown rice

2 stalks celery, sliced into ½ ″ pieces

1 clove garlic, minced

3 cups nonfat, low-salt beef broth

2 (14.5-ounce) cans Muir Glen Organic No Salt Added Diced Tomatoes

½ cup water

¼ teaspoon granulated sugar

⅛ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Add the cooked beef to the slow cooker. Mix together all the remaining ingredients and pour over the beef. Set the slow cooker on high until the mixture begins to boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 8 to 10 hours. Adjust seasonings, if necessary.
