1 large white or yellow onion, chopped
1 large red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1 large green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
3 tablespoons pork broth
1 tablespoon Mr. Spice Garlic Steak Sauce
½ pound cooked pork, shredded
8 slices, thinly sliced low-salt bread
In a medium-size microwave-safe bowl, combine the onion, peppers, garlic, and broth; microwave on high for 5 minutes or until the onion is transparent and the peppers are soft. Add the steak sauce and pork; stir to combine. Cover and microwave at 70 percent power for 2 minutes or until the mixture is heated through. Taste and add more steak sauce, if desired. Serve immediately, as sandwiches on plain or toasted bread.
