1 ½ pounds Easy Slow-Cooked

“Roast” Beef

1 cup water

½ cup dry white wine

½ cup low-salt ketchup

1 tablespoon red wine vinegar

2 teaspoons Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons mustard powder

1 tablespoon dried minced onion

1 teaspoon dried minced garlic

1 teaspoon cracked black pepper

1 tablespoon brown sugar

¼ teaspoon salt-free chili powder

Pinch dried red pepper flakes, crushed

  • Add the cooked beef to the slow cooker. Mix together all the remaining ingredients and pour over the beef. Add additional water, to cover the meat. Set the slow cooker on high until the mixture begins to boil.

  • Reduce heat to low and simmer for 2 or more hours, until tender. Adjust the seasonings, if necessary.
