Bread Machine New York Rye
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 24
- 1⅛ cups water
- 2 tablespoons honey
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon mustard powder
- ⅛ teaspoon dried lemon granules, crushed
- 4 teaspoons olive or canola oil
- 1 large egg, beaten
- ¼ cup dried nonfat milk powder
- 1 tablespoon caraway seeds
- 2½ cups bread flour
- 1¼ cups rye flour
- ¼ cup whole-wheat flour
- ¼ cup oat bran
- 2½ teaspoons active dry yeast
Add the ingredients in the order suggested by your bread machine manual and process on the basic bread cycle according to the manufacturer's directions.
Bake at the white bread setting, light crust.
