Preheat broiler. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, and garlic; set aside. In another small bowl, combine tomato and basil; set aside. Brush mushrooms with the oil and place on a broiler pan, gill-side up. Broil until tender, about 5 to 7 minutes.
Spoon tomato mixture into mushroom caps. Spread mayonnaise mixture over the bottom halves of the rolls and top each with a mushroom cap, tomato-side up. Top with lettuce. Spread top halves of rolls with remaining mayonnaise mixture and place on lettuce. Serve immediately.
