Nectarine Chutney

Peel nectarines, remove pit, and chop. In 2-quart microwave-safe bowl, combine all ingredients except almonds.
Microwave on high for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes, until mixture is very thick. Fruit should be tender.
Let mixture cool; cover, and refrigerate until cold. Stir in the almonds before serving. Chutney can be stored, covered, in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
