Buttermilk Pops

Buttermilk adds a creamy texture to these simple popsicles. Use any type of frozen juice concentrate you'd like.

1 (6-ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate

1 cup low-fat buttermilk

1 cup evaporated skim milk

¼ cup sugar

⅛ teaspoon salt

  • Thaw the orange juice concentrate. Combine in medium bowl with remaining ingredients. Stir until mixture blends and sugar dissolves.

  • Pour into 10 4-ounce paper drink cups or popsicle molds and freeze until thickened, about 20 to 25 minutes.

  • Insert popsicle sticks and return to freezer. Freeze until firm, about 3 to 4 hours. To serve, peel off the paper cup.
