Virgo wavers between paranoia and excessive trust. Fortunately, she's bright, funny, witty, and refined. Like Scorpio and Leo, though, Virgo believes people are either with him or against him. But unlike Scorpio and Leo, who go more by a sense of skin, Virgo tries to rationalize things away. She can't help dissecting things. A less mature Virgo will analyze every move of her love partner, right down to the way he says, “Let's talk later.”

Here's the rub: Virgo doesn't want you to know that she's a real softie. She loves love and wants to be smitten ten times over. But she can't shake the feeling that she needs to protect herself. She's more romantic than she likes to let on, simply because she can't bear the thought of being considered a fool.

Scared of Love?

Virgo is cursed with a fear of love. Many times, she even pushes prospective love mates away unwittingly because she's afraid of what a real love match might mean. She'd have to be open. Exposed. Vulnerable. This is Virgo's biggest hurdle. A younger, less evolved Virgo, unfortunately, is also likely to get involved with an emotional or physically abusive partner. Though almost all Virgos seem mature at a very young age, it usually takes awhile for a Virgo to truly grow emotionally. For this reason, many Virgos find their real love mates in their thirties, instead of in their twenties.
