The Art of Attraction

Libra may be difficult to conquer. Libra man, for example, usually goes for the prettiest girl in the room. But tastes vary — what's beautiful to one may not appeal to another. At the very least, Libras tend to be born with a good aesthetic sense. Whether this particular trait comes out through his work or through his personal relationship says a lot about the kind of Libra you're dealing with. A Libra who incorporates his love of beauty into his everyday life is more balanced than a Libra who seeks perfection from the people around him.

Aside from that, Libra doesn't like her potential mate to be too aggressive. Courting, to a Libra, is like a dance — a tango, perhaps — slow and intricate. Libra is also a subtle flirt, but she doesn't like her partner to be too flirty with others. Though she's not as jealous as some other signs (like Scorpio or Cancer), she still doesn't like to compete with others for your attention.

Though Libra does like to be swept away with love, he can also get involved on a more superficial level. Libra, remember, is an Air sign; he can rationalize anything away. If a Libra decides he wants to have a fling, he has it — with no regrets. How do you know if Libra is playing with you or playing for keeps? Easy. Just ask him. Libra will tell you. He's not known to hide his intentions. In fact, he's as straight as they come.

QUESTION?

What's the biggest problem in conquering a Libra?

Indecision. Libra doesn't get involved until she's 100 percent sure about you. And sometimes it takes her awhile to decide if she wants to risk it or not.

The Long Haul

Libra either gets married very late or very early. There's almost never a middle ground. Those who settle down early in life tend to choose poorly and may later regret it. Normally, though, when Libra finally marries, it's for keeps. She devotes herself to her other half and relies on him for sustenance. She can also be affectionate in private. Most Libras aren't keen to public displays of affection. They like to keep their home life at home.

Because Libra can easily separate romantic or sexual flings from real love and someone he intends to stay with, you should expect him to act accordingly. If it's a temporary love situation, he won't hesitate to cheat or look around while he's with you. If he wants you for keeps, though, he'll be faithful and true. Once again, ask. You'll get a straight answer one way or the other — and find out for real what you mean to him.

He/She: The Little Stuff Counts

While Virgo is more detail-oriented in noticing flaws in others, Libra, too, will pay attention to the little things. Libra men, for example, always go for women who are particularly well groomed. This doesn't mean that she has to be elegant or even always dressed up. Libra man likes women who can be casual with a pair of jeans, too. But he'll notice if her hair is cut nicely and done up and if her fingernails are polished and look pretty.

Though Libra likes out-there sexiness in a partner for a fling, she tends to lean to the more conservative side in hunting for a future mate. Libra woman also likes a man who seems capable and rock steady. Libra is very good at accomplishing whatever task she puts her mind to — whether it's rock climbing, flying a plane, or selling ice to an Eskimo. Unlike Gemini, she doesn't talk to fill in the gaps. She likes a partner to understand the benefits of silence.
