You can know all there is about leadership styles and the traits of leaders, but that alone doesn't mean a thing. Why? Because it's all about you — how you act, what you have going for you, how you'll try to get people to work toward goals. Who cares? We live in a society where relatively few people find themselves driven by duty or demand. Much of the emphasis in life is what people and organizations can do for you. As a leader, you need to get beyond that — and you need to get beyond yourself. That requires vision.
