Effect Emotional Shifts
Your thoughts and emotional state can be affected by the chi in your home, which, in turn, affects the working of the Law of Attraction. Negative energy can be counteracted and replaced by new, positive chi. One way to do that is tear down old structures and replace them with new ones. Remodeling a kitchen is an example of shifting the old patterns or ways of living in a space to accommodate a new thinking/feeling approach.
Changing Things to Re-Energize the Space
If you no longer have an attachment for a room or anything in it, it may be time to totally change things around to replenish or create new pathways for the flow of chi. If you just want a little lift of the energy, bring in a tabletop fountain, build a comfortable window seat with a view outside, or install a new kitchen island with space to hold cookbooks and a counter where you can sit and sip tea while staring outside into nature. Incorporate the five elements of nature in some way in that room to either soften or reinvigorate it.
Deflecting a Neighbor's Bad Energy
In your garden near your neighbor's fence, install a wide-mouth urn of still water in close proximity to the neighbor's property. If he has demonstrated hostility toward you, his negative energy will be neutralized by the water. Do a mental check-in to make certain that you did not give him a reason to feel so angry toward you. If you did, face it, fix it, release, and replace it.
Hanging Wind Chimes for Increased Energy
In a room where the energy seems weak, bring in sound in the form of music with more high notes than low. A wind chime with high-pitched bells or cylinders will give you more energy than ones with low sounds. Tibetan bells are the best of all because they are often harmonically tuned. Your mood will become more positive with every breeze that moves the bells. Another way to shift energy for a more positive mood is to put on a CD of feng shui music and do some yoga or breath work.
Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything. It is the essence of order, and leads to all that is good, just, and beautiful, of which it is the invisible, but nevertheless dazzling, passionate, and eternal form. — Plato
