Energy, Enthusiasm, and Expectation
Not surprisingly, many people working with deliberate intention and the Law of Attraction have sought and found support among others who share their ideas about how to achieve the good things in life. The group energy and enthusiasm is often infectious and spurs individuals in the group to believe in the value of their dreams and let go of doubt and the negatives of the past that may weigh upon them.
Canst thou not minister to a mind diseased; pluck from the memory of a rooted sorrow; Raze out the written troubles of the brain; And, with some sweet oblivious antidote, Cleanse the stuffed bosom of that perilous stuff Which weighs upon the heart? — William Shakespeare, Macbeth, Act 5, Scene 3
Sometimes members of a Law of Attraction networking group will help you clarify and establish goals or work toward new ones. You, in turn, help them stay on track. The group can help you identify behaviors that may create luck in bringing success or factors that may be chasing it away. You reinforce each other's pursuit of goodness, not just the acquisition of material wealth but in the expectation that your sacred dreams, your goals of working service groups, and your humanitarian efforts will come to fruition.
Challenging the Status Quo
People who are successful in creating their exciting dream life are always on the move. They don't sit still and wait for life to come to them. They won't write one book in a year, they'll write two, four, or five. They won't start just one business in a lifetime. They will build one until it becomes mega-successful, and then they'll begin again with something new. They sail into life each day with zeal and gusto, ever on the lookout for a new idea, a more fun way to do something, or a new enterprise, ever challenging the status quo. By demonstrating that passionate way of being, you are demonstrating how to best work with the law. You may be motivating yourself as well.
Scholar David Ellerman, author of Helping People Help Themselves: From the World Bank to an Alternative Philosophy of Development Assistance, has taken a humanist approach to how to best help humanity and nations. The success of any economic development aid works, he asserted, when people and countries become empowered to help themselves. Doers must see their own problems to discover workable solutions.
Learning Metaphysical and Esoteric Teachings
Some Law of Attraction practitioners join support groups to share metaphysical or esoteric teachings behind the Law of Attraction. Others are attracted to the open and honest ways that members engage in self-disclosure and friendship. They no longer feel isolated in the pursuit of a new and better life. Still others find that it helps to work with fellow Buddhists or survivors of some life-threatening disease who support one another through several layers of common interest, such as a desire for compassionate living or a sense of shared common ground.
