Create Better Lives by Teaching Others
You know people who are always complaining that they can't get ahead in life no matter what they do. They are the walking wounded. They may have lost jobs, be in pain, or be at risk of losing their homes. They may wonder if they are living under some kind of curse. At church, they find comfort in hearing that God loves them, watches over them, and can help them, but they don't know how to help themselves. These are people you can teach to avail themselves of financial prosperity, joy, and success in every area of life.
Leaders, whether in organizations or businesses, motivate people. But no two leaders are exactly alike in their style and approach. Some leaders use negative motivational tools such as intimidation, fear, and ridicule and, consequently, find that these hurtful tactics usually work in the short-term and can backfire. Positive motivation not only helps people help themselves, but it can also function as self-motivation for leaders.
You can also learn from them. Questions and comments posed by others inevitably provide different lenses for examining a subject. Sharing knowledge is often a two-way flow. Teaching someone else something is a sure-fire method for learning more about it yourself.
The Taoist Lao Tzu once propounded that if you give a man a fish, he eats for a day. But if you teach the man to fish, he can eat for the rest of his life. The point is not to promote another person's reliance upon you to keep providing the fish, but to empower that individual to find the sustenance from life on his own. When he understands how to manifest his heart's many desires and his body's assorted needs in alliance with the Law of Attraction, he will be able to sustain himself without your intervention. That is not to say you can't emotionally and psychologically support him and others.
