Strategies for Rapid Advancement
You believe that you are ready for fast-track advancement to the top of your company or career. Remember that what you focus on, you attract. Make a list of all the things you want in terms of advancement. For example, your list could include task-related items such as more and varied responsibilities, opportunities for the most challenging assignments, a senior-level management position, and greater autonomy to do your job. You could also include rewards and perks such as performance bonuses, increased industry recognition, a company car, and international travel.
Stop worrying about how things will happen. Aim your mental laser beam on what you want. You will find that your intuition or instincts begin to guide you to opportunities for rapid advancement. Most importantly, the movement will occur effortlessly and easily.
If you want to create something, like shifting a negative attitude to a positive one, it can happen instantly because your consciousness is timeless, or eternal. The negative thought “I resent how my boss works with me under pressure because that frenetic energy causes me to feel stressful” can instantly become “I am grateful for how my boss mentors me because learning from her helps me to advance rapidly within the company.” It's always a good idea to de-emphasize the negative and focus on the positive.
Success manifests from the inside out. To be successful in the world, you have to feel successful. There are plenty of people who seem to have everything — money, family, friends, beautiful children, an affluent lifestyle, a great job — and yet satisfaction with life eludes them. They may have addiction problems because of the excesses of their lifestyles or legal problems or tax issues. Trouble follows them like a dog nipping at their heels no matter where they go and what they do. They chase success and never find it.
Thought, mood, or attitude changes can manifest instantly because they occur in the mind; however, when you work to manifest something in the framework of the physical world, in which time and space are elements, you need to establish a time frame for your intention. For example, “I desire to become director of new products of XYZ Company by the end of this year.”
Cultivate your belief in yourself as a successful person. What does your success look like? Wealth, health, great relationships, fabulous job — whatever it is, play the mental video of it over and over again. Think and feel successful. Don't let anything or anyone dim that vision.
