A proper warm-up is a necessity, not only in Krav Maga training but also in any form of physical activity or exercise. Warming up before you engage in strenuous exercise is important for a number of reasons. First, a warm-up reduces your risk of suffering an injury from muscle pulls or strains. Warming up also loosens your joints, gets your blood pumping, raises your body temperature, and increases your overall potential for having a successful workout session before you ever start working hard.
