Acute Injuries

Acute injuries are injuries that occur immediately, and they can be rated from mild to severe. For example, you can have from mild sprain to a ligament in the knee in which case you may feel some pain, but with ice and rest it will return to normal. On the other hand, you may see a much more severe injury to a ligament in the knee in which surgery is sometimes necessary.

When implementing the Krav Maga fitness program appropriately, it is not likely that you will experience a severe injury such as this. Though injury is always a possibility, the longer you train, the less likely you are to have one. If anything, a program such as Krav Maga is going to aid you in preventing these types of injuries.
