Why is Krav Maga such an effective form of fitness? The act of fighting is one of the most physically taxing activities on the planet. When you punch, you extend your weight outwards, putting as much force behind your fist as possible. Why? Because when you land a punch, you want it to do as much damage as possible. However, it takes far more force to miss than it does to land a punch. What does this mean for you? This means that if your first punch (or even the first few) does not land, you are going to need to have the stamina to go the distance. And in order to do that, you will need to be fit enough to fight.
