Types of Coordination

There are several types of coordination. The first type is coordinating left and right. Combinations and sequencing of exercises can get confusing at first when you constantly have to think about left and right sides having a job to do. It's best to learn the movements on one side and then switch sides. This goes for punch combination as well as for something like lunges.

Coordinating your top and bottom, the second type of coordination, relates to exercises that require you to focus on your upper body while your lower body is doing something else at the same time. All Krav Maga movements require you to do this, at least to some extent.

In the beginning stages of your Krav Maga training, these two halves of your body may not come together with the correct timing. With time and regular practice, you will improve and your movements will begin to occur naturally in a more efficient and coordinated manner.
