Muslims believe in miracles because they are revealed in the Koran. Allah's work of creation is considered to be a miracle. Possibly all known prophets were granted the ability to perform miracles to convince their people that they indeed carried a divine message. While these were big, astounding miracles, there are other smaller miracles. Muslims believe that the Koran is a miracle in itself, since it presents evidence that it is the word of Allah.
