Hell is mentioned almost as many times in the Koran as Heaven is. Every time the Koran describes the bliss of Heaven, it also describes the terrors of Hell. The Koran clearly defines who will go to Hell and explicitly illustrates how they will be made to suffer. There are, of course, different levels and various punishments, and a number of people may even be released to Heaven after some time. Nevertheless, the Hell the Koran talks about is a place no one would want to step into.
