People Power
When the pyramids were built, there were no trucks, cranes, or bulldozers. How did all the huge blocks of stone get moved into place? People power, of course! Building the pyramids was hard enough, but around the pyramids were large temples and huge statues. All of this incredibly heavy stuff had to be pulled, pushed, and lifted, too. Phew!
Here is a statue of a pharaoh named Djehutihotep. Add the EVEN numbers inside the monument to learn how many tons it weighs. Add the ODD numbers inside the men to see how many men it took to move it!
