All the stones used in the pyramids had to be brought to the building site from stone quarries. Some limestone could be found nearby, but other stones, like granite, came from far away. Stones were cut at quarries, loaded onto barges, and floated down the Nile to the building site. Steer the barge from the stone quarry to the dock closest to the pyramid.
