A pharaoh's crown looked different depending on when and where he ruled. Here are five of the different crowns of ancient Egypt. Decide which one you like best and draw it on the pharaoh's head. Use the grid lines to help make the crown the correct size!
EXTRA FUN: Color the pharaoh's portrait when you are done.
The Nemes Crown is actually more like a headdress because it was made out of blue and gold striped fabric. The other crowns were probably made of painted leather.
EXTRA FUN: You will need a piece of heavy paper or thin cardboard that is 14 inches wide and 18 inches long. Draw a grid pattern on it, making each square two inches. Copy your picture of the pharaoh onto the grid and color it in. Cut the picture apart on the grid lines to make a jigsaw puzzle!
