Body Parts
The process of mummification began right after a person's death. Some body parts were removed and stored in special “canopic” jars. Unscramble the letters in each of the four jars. Each one contains the word for an organ that was removed from the pharaoh's body. Once stored in the jar, it was buried alongside the pharaoh.
This organ was thought to be trash. It was taken out through the nose with a long hook and thrown away!
This organ was believed to be the source of all wisdom. The pharaoh would certainly need this in the afterlife! For that reason, it was never removed from the body.
