Cookies and Milk
Did you know that chocolate chip cookies might have started out as “Butter Drop-Do” cookies? The story goes that Mrs. Wakefield, of the Toll House Inn near Boston, ran out of nuts while making her regular butter cookies. She put in a chopped-up chocolate bar instead. Over the next few years, the cookies became so popular that one chocolate company invented little chocolate pieces especially for this recipe!
This cookie has a LOT of chips in it! Find your way through the chips from one side of the cookie to the other.

A chocolate company bought the recipe for Mrs. Wakefield's cookies and printed it right on their bags of chocolate chips. The chips and the recipe are still around today — can you think of the name of the chocolate company and what they decided to call Mrs. Wakefield's new cookie?
