When Is Hanukkah?
You want to plan a Hanukkah party, but when is Hanukkah? Check out the calendar in your kitchen. You might see that Hanukkah starts in December, or you might find it starting in November! That's because the start of Hanukkah is figured using the Hebrew calendar. This calendar is very different from the one we use daily. Use the decoder to find out why! Fun Fact: Hanukkah begins at sunset the day before the date on the calendar. This is because a Jewish day begins and ends at sunset, not at midnight!
