Around the Table

It is important to remember that the history of Hanukkah is full of sacrifice and acts of courage. During dinner, Uncle Leon tells the story of seven brothers who gave their lives standing up for their religious beliefs. Long ago in Judea, the seven were brought before King Antiochus. Each one was commanded to break the laws of the Torah by worshiping an idol or by eating unclean meat. Each brother refused. As their mother stood by, the king had each of her sons killed.

What was the name of the mother who gave her sons such faith? Each clue suggests a five-letter word ending with E. Write each word into the puzzle. Put the first letter in the outer ring and spell toward the middle. Read the letters in the outer ring.
