Some creatures don't need help with body part replacements. They grow their own! A fast-moving lizard can break off its tail if grabbed by a predator. Within a few months it will grow back almost as good as new, just slightly shorter, a different color, and with cartilage instead of bone! A starfish can regrow a new arm (or two), and the sea cucumber can regrow a whole new digestive system!
