Stars and Stripes Sundae
Substitute blueberries for blackberries, raspberries for strawberries— and the ice cream can alternate with a strawberry sorbet!
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 4
1 pound low-fat pound cake
Star cookie cutter
1 pint low-fat vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
1 pint fresh strawberries
1 pint fresh blueberries
Red, white, and blue sprinkles

1. Slice pound cake, and using the cookie cutters, cut out 4 to 8 star shapes.

2. On a dessert plate, place 1/2 cup low-fat ice cream/ frozen yogurt on the center of the plate.

3. Surrounding the ice cream, add fruit and star-shaped cake to decorate. Cover with sprinkles.
