Mrs. Paco Taco
Prepare taco meat. Shred lettuce and chop tomatoes, and serve with baked tortilla chips, or wrap in a corn tortilla for a unique soft taco.
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 4–6
- Nonstick cooking spray
- 1 pound ground sirloin
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 small onion, chopped
- Water to cover

Spray medium skillet with nonstick cooking spray.

Combine beef, nutmeg, pepper, salt, oregano, garlic, and onion.

Cook on medium heat until beef is cooked and onion begins to soften.

Just barely cover with water.

Cook 30 to 40 minutes on low heat, until water is absorbed.

Serve with corn chips or put into a corn tortilla and serve.
